Why is it called “Miscellanea”?

The name “Miscellanea” is no coincidence. It draws inspiration from the section often found in legal contracts, where all the elements that don’t fit into the main chapters—but are still essential to the completeness of the agreement—are gathered.
Transposed into a creative context, the word takes on a poetic and symbolic meaning.
Spazio Miscellanea is the space of the “extra,” the “off-topic” that becomes central. It’s the free zone of the creative process, where rules, formats, and languages are intentionally blended and reshaped to generate something entirely new.
It is a fluid, dynamic, and unpredictable space, open to cross-contamination, experimentation, and unexpected dialogues.
